The Great Greene Heist

The Great Greene Heist by Varian Johnson is a great realistic fiction book. The main character, Jackson Greene, is doing everything he can so that Gabriela de La Cruz will be elected student council president. Not only does Jackson like Gaby, but he does not want his archenemy, Keith Sinclair who is the other candidate to be the next president. Jackson says he's a retired con artist, but this may be something that is worth coming out of retirement for. He recruits technology geniuses, bankroll (someone with access to money), someone with access to the office, and together they make team Greene. Although they may not always stay within the school rules, they do their best to give Gaby the win. I liked this book because it was full of action, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

A Christmas Carol

"A Christmas Carol" is a book about a selfish old man named Ebenezer Scrooge. On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by his business partner, Jacob Marley. Marley tells Scrooge that if he does not change and become good, then he will be chained by his own selfish deeds. Marley tells Scrooge that he would be visited by three spirits. The first spirit arrived soon after and too Scrooge to the past to show him his happiness in the past. The next spirit arrived and showed Scrooge what was going on then. Finally, the last Spirit came to show Scrooge the future, but you need to read the book to find out what happens.
I would rate this book four stars, because there was a good plot and it was very creative. I kind of liked this book, but I thought that it was a little bit boring.
